“Food” is a trilogy of surrealist animated short films from 1992, filmed under
Stop motion technique, written and directed by Jan Švankmajer. Dark comedy
trilogy that examines the human relationship with food by showing breakfast,
lunch and dinner, through different hidden meanings.
Synopsis.
“Breakfast": After breakfast, a man is transformed into a caterer and so is
the man to whom he serves breakfast.
“Lunch": Failing to get the waiter's attention, two diners go on an
all-you-can-eat rampage.
“Dinner": Images of various meals composed of human organs.
