One of the most important elements in the "Saw" franchise is the letter that
Detective Hoffman leaves Amanda during the events of "Saw III"/"Saw IV", which,
in addition to revealing that Amanda was involved in Gideon's death, changed the
course and fate of the characters throughout the story. After this, all fans
wondered: Did John know about this letter? Was there an original letter? Thanks
to a discarded prop from the third film in the series, we can answer our
questions.
