“Basement” is a 2013 German horror short film, written and directed by Uwe Boll under the Harbinger International Films label. The short film is included in the horror anthology film released in 2024, “The Profane Exhibit”, and is inspired by the real-life Austrian case of Josef Fritzl.

In a seemingly ordinary suburban home, a disturbing truth lurks, revealing the darkest side of the familiar.
