KING KONG 1996. First draft.

Prior to the production of the iconic 2005 film “King Kong,” director and writer Peter Jackson worked with Fran Walsh in 1996 to develop a remake of the acclaimed 1933 film. This version featured numerous changes, including a depressed war veteran Jack Driscoll, an archaeologist Ann Darrow, and a setting in Sumatra.
