Following his tragic death in 2008, Australian actor Heath Ledger won the Oscar for Best Actor at the 81st Academy Awards for his portrayal of Batman’s infamous nemesis, the Joker. As part of his preparation, the actor kept a highly detailed journal for the character, which, according to rumors, may have taken a toll on his mental health, ultimately leading to his alleged suicide.
