JASON VOORHEES ON TALKSHOW.

On July 28, 1989, "The Arsenio Hall Show" was the scene of one of the most surreal moments in late-night television, when the ferocious Jason Voorhees appeared on set, armed to the teeth.

As part of the promotional campaign for the release of “Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan,” legendary actor and stuntman Kane Hodder appeared in full costume and makeup, wearing the mask of the infamous Jason Voorhees. The interview has become iconic due to Hodder's total commitment to the character, as he remained silent and completely motionless while Arsenio Hall tried to strike up a conversation.

Years later, Kane Hodder revealed that he had been fighting back laughter the entire time he was under the mask, especially in the face of Arsenio’s wit, but managed to stay in character.
