“Le Chaudron Infernal” (“The Infernal Cauldron”) is a 1903 French silent short film directed and produced by George Méliès under the French Star Film Company. It is known for being one of the few productions in Méliès' filmography to be restored in stereoscopic 3D by the Lobster Films Foundation and the Cinémathèque Française, thanks to the filmmaker's anti-piracy system.



Synopsis.

In a chamber decorated with infernal symbols, a demonic figure performs a ritual around a burning cauldron, triggering a series of supernatural phenomena.
