The renowned and visionary entrepreneur Walt Disney is known, among many other
things, for being involved in numerous legends that have not been verified to
this day. However, there is one in particular that involves a not-so-innocent
animation showing two of his most famous characters having sex.
Mickey and Minnie's Sex Tape legend.
The story goes that in 1936, shortly before Walt Disney's 35th birthday, his
brother Roy encouraged Disney employees to organize a surprise birthday party
for him, to which everyone agreed.
Supposedly, two unknown animators decided it would be fun to animate Mickey and Minnie Mouse having sex for the party. When shown the short film, Disney responded by pretending to laugh before complimenting the quality of the animation and asking who had created it. Once the two animators came forward, he immediately fired them and then left the building.
It has been claimed that shortly afterwards Walt ordered the destruction of
all known copies of the animation. It is unknown whether any copies of this
short film survived after this.
