Back in the 1990s, the popular Cartoon Network produced a couple of fun promotional TV spots with a “Scream” theme.

To promote a weekly marathon of various animated films from the legendary children's horror series “Scooby-Doo,” from October 27 to 30, 1997 (Original broadcast) and from October 26 to 29, 1998 (Rebroadcast), Cartoon Network broadcasted a couple of commercials parodying the iconic opening scene of the 1996 satirical slasher film “Scream.”

In the commercials, Daphne is getting ready to watch a “Scooby-Doo” movie when she gets a call from a mysterious man...
