“Suspense” is a 1913 American silent Horror film written, directed, and starring
Lois Weber, produced by Rex Motion Picture Company, and distributed by Universal
Pictures. In 2020, the film was selected by the U.S. Library of Congress for
preservation in the National Film Registry for being “culturally, historically,
and aesthetically significant.”
Synopsis.
A young wife is left home alone taking care of her baby after the maid left
without warning. A vagrant finds out she's home alone and tries to break in.
